Contemporary grave issues raised in a satirical manner
Lord Krishna takes a stroll around the earth in the present era and finds everyone soaked in the materialistic culture up to the neck. Satyajit Keshari presented the play 'Vartman ka Postmortem' on 11.3.2018 in Kalidas Rangalaya, Patna. The play was directed by Satyajit Keshrai and scripted by Rajanish Kumar. With a subtlety but in an effective manner, the play raises several issues prevailing in the contemporary world. The style of narration is satirical poetry. The director and script writer both were able to show their mettle in this performance and the experimentalism in the presentation in terms of script writing and set design must be applauded. Also, far away from the bug of pure entertainment, a genuine attempt to dealing with societal issues of highly grievous nature is nothing but a testimony to the undaunted determination toward the main object of hardcore theatre.
Actors were Santosh Mehra, Gunjan Kumar., Saurabh Kumar, Sarvind Kumar, Paras K Jha, Om Prakash, Sushant Chakravarty, Ajit Kumar.. Md Saddan (costume), Raj Kapur (Light), Ravi Raj (Sound), Jitendra Kr (meke-up. etc. were from back stage.
